Father-son fight leads to hospital visit, Mobile police say

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Mobile police are investigating after a fight between father and son sent one person to the hospital, News 5 has learned.

According to the MPD, officers responded to the 4400 block of Barden Avenue around 7:48 p.m. July 31 for a domestic incident.

LOCATION:

Police said the incident started as a physical fight and escalated when the son began choking his father.

The father then shot his son in self-defense, an MPD press release said.

After being shot, the son allegedly ran from the home before being found by officers and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
