UPDATE: All lanes are open and the scene is clear.
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Multiple lanes are closed on Interstate 95 South in Richmond on Thursday as first responders work the scene of a crash.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the crash took place the evening of Thursday, Aug. 1, on I-95 southbound in the area of Overbrook Road.
As of 7:50 p.m., the southbound left and center lanes are closed. Traffic is backed up for about a mile.
