WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Northstar Meetings Group is holding a hosted buyer event in Wichita next week.
Destination Midwest connects meeting and incentive buyers with destinations, hotels, resorts, attractions, destination management companies and organizations, technology and merchandise providers, and tourism offices across the Midwest. It takes place Aug. 5 through 7 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Wichita.
The three-day event includes one-on-one meetings, guest speakers, and networking opportunities for professionals.
“We are excited to host this group of peers and planners,” says Susie Santo, president and CEO of Visit Wichita. “Our experience has been when planners get to visit our city, meet our locals, visit our attractions, dine at our restaurants and experience our meeting and hotel venues, they are more likely to host their next conference in Wichita.”

The meeting will include tours of local attractions, restaurants, businesses, and venues for event and meeting planners.
