VBPD searching for suspects in connection with $1,300 LEGO theft

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Officers with the Virginia Beach Police Department are searching for two suspects in connection with $1,300 worth of stolen LEGOs from a Virginia Beach Walmart.

According to officials, on both July 15 and 17, around 3:30 p.m., the suspects, pictured below, stole approximately $1,300 worth of LEGOs from the Walmart located on Phoenix Drive, near Lynnhaven Mall.

Police said the individuals paid for cheaper LEGOs at the electronics section and then swapped them out with more expensive LEGOs before leaving the store.

The suspects were seen on both occasions driving a black 2010 Acura MDX SUX with Virginia license plates TTB-2470. The vehicle was found to be registered to an address in Chesapeake.
