VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a garage fire that injured one person on Friday, officials said.
The call came in around 1:45 p.m., crews responded to the 900 block of Devastator Run, which is in military housing, at an end unit townhouse. One person was transported to the hospital for minor burns.
One adult and one child displaced. Two dogs are displaced. The townhouse and garage are a total loss. Navy family services will assist family with additional needs. Cause and origin under investigation.
