MORAVIA, N.Y. – Being self-described “nosy neighbors” paid off for Jeff and Marybeth Carlberg. It was one misty autumn morning in 2016, when the couple were kayaking from their camp on Skaneateles Lake when they spotted a small for sale sign at the waterfront of 130 Locust Lane near Moravia.
