Sticky weekend, spotty showers, storms, sunshine Sunday, warmer

Central Ohio Weather and Radar

Warm and humid summer weather brought another day with scattered showers and storms.

Upper-level low pressure will keep conditions unsettled, with occasional rain and storms pushing south of I-70 this evening. Watch out for lightning, and keep your Storm Team 4 Weather App handy.

Showers will diminish by sunset, followed by patchy fog late tonight, as readings cool into the mid- to upper 60s.

The weather will improve Sunday, with ample sunshine, puffy clouds, and a warm afternoon near 90 degrees, as high pressure builds in and low pressure aloft drifts away to the east.

Hot and moderately humid conditions will return Monday in a southerly flow behind the high-pressure ridge. A frontal boundary will sag into northern Ohio, where a few showers and storms will develop in the evening, where the front will stall overnight.

An approaching cold front will trigger a few storms later on Tuesday, followed by dry and seasonably warm weather the rest of next week.
