RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Stony Point Fashion Park will hold a Back-to-School event in Richmond to help students and families prepare for the upcoming school year.
Stony Point Fashion Park, located at 9200 Stony Point Parkway, will hold its Back-to-School event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 with many fun activities such as face painting, balloon art and an ice cream social.
According to a spokesperson for the event, the first 100 attendees will receive goodie bags filled with essential school supplies.
The Richmond Public Library , Metropolitan Business League , Discovery Chess and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond will have booths at the event with activities and learning opportunities.
After the Back-to-School event, Stony Point Fashion Park will hold its Dillard’s Back-to-School Fashion Show at 2 p.m. Saturday.
