WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – We’ve got a break from the extreme heat this weekend, but it won’t last long as the 100s return next week. This morning, we are mild with some lingering isolated storms in western Kansas. These on and off storms will continue through the day in Southwest Kansas. Expect afternoon highs across the state to range from the lower to middle 90s with partly cloudy skies.
