CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A few showers and storms are possible in places overnight, but many areas are expected to remain dry. Storms are expected to form in Minnesota and work their way south overnight. These storms will be losing strength and dissipating as they move into Iowa, but areas north of Highway 30 could see a few showers and a storm between 3AM and 6 AM. Any activity that makes it into eastern Iowa is expected to diminish shortly after daybreak Sunday, so impacts to weekend plans are expected to be minimal. Lows tonight drop into the mid to upper 60s.
