(Atlanta News First) – Former President Jimmy Carter is putting his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election. “I’m only trying to make it to vote for Kamala Harris,” the 99-year-old told his son Chip, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Jason Carter, Carter’s grandson, added that he has been “more alert and interested in politics and the war in Gaza” recently.
