(FOX40.COM) — The suspect in a domestic violence incident died early Monday morning, the Modesto Police Department said.
According to police, officers responded to a call about a domestic violence incident just after midnight Monday near Kimble Street and E Morris Avenue.

Police said officers found the suspect had been injured by a family member who had intervened in the incident.
The suspect was taken to a hospital where they later died.
