‘Damage is being done’
I was born in Oklahoma and lived most of my adult life there until recently moving out of state. Reading The Oklahoman every day, I am having a hard time figuring out why Oklahoma is tolerating Ryan Walters. He is most certainly running for higher office using the education department and its money as a stepping stone.
Oklahoma remains mostly dead last in rankings , and Walters is ensuring the state remains there. Most Oklahomans I know are smarter than to fall for his speil, yet every week it is a new low. Oklahoma looks gullible and it is hard to fathom families wanting to come into Oklahoma and put their children in the Oklahoma school system with Walters at the lead.
It would be wise to study history and see that Oklahoma will not always lean to the extreme it is now, and when the change takes place, and it will, Oklahoma will be left further behind than it is now — if that is even possible. Heads up Oklahoma because damage is being done.
