Mobile man accused of strangling, hitting woman during fight: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A local man accused of strangling and hitting a woman during a fight has been arrested, according to the Mobile Police Department.

The MPD said in a press release that officers arrested 28-year-old Marlin Johnathan Mahan Miller of Mobile after responding Aug. 4 around 3:38 a.m. to the report of a fight on the 2000 block of Hathcox Street.

LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they found a female with injuries, according to the release.

After further investigations, officers said they learned that Miller strangled the victim and hit her in the face.

Miller was booked into the Mobile Metro Jail and charged with domestic violence (strangulation or suffocation) and probation violation, according to the jail log.
