OPD said the parents, Jesika Riggs and Patro Stevenson, requested an ambulance due to a child a 1-year-old ingesting an unknown substance and moving very slowly.
The child was eventually taken to Norton’s Children’s Hospital.
Officials said a search warrant was executed at the family’s residence where patrol officers seized suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Officials also say an empty bottle of THC gummies was found, and an investigation revealed that the child likely ingested edible marijuana gummies.
