High temperatures are expected today before a cold front will bring cooer temperatures for the rest of the week. The National Weather Service says there’s a Heat Advisory in place for parts of east central Missouri from noon to 6:00 p.m. today. The advisory is in place in Franklin and Gasconade Counties and then extends east into the St. Louis area. Heat index values of up to 107 are possible.
