Rep. Peltola Announces $25M for Alaskan Airport Upgrades and Safety

Millions in federal funding will help make upgrades at airports across our state. Congresswoman Mary Peltola announced $25 million in Airport Improvement Program Grants for Alaska. She says the money will help improve runways and other airport infrastructure to ensure safe air travel for Alaskans. The Ted Stevens Airport in Anchorage stands to benefit from this funding as do the airports in Kodiak, Sheldon Point, Tok, Galena, Fairbanks, and Nome.
