All Quarry Fire mandatory evacuations lifted, fire 82% contained

Highway 34 from Estes Park to County Road 29 has been closed since July 29, and now drivers can use that road to go in between Estes Park and Loveland. However, crews are still working on reaching 100% containment, so watch out for fire personnel in the area.

Another major update for the Alexander Mountain Fire is evacuation orders, or the lack thereof. On Wednesday the last mandatory evacuation order was downgraded to a voluntary evacuation order for the Cedar Park and Storm Mountain communities.
