Lauderhill, FL: In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a woman was hospitalized after being shot outside Lallo’s Caribbean restaurant, located at 1400 N. State Road 7. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. during a celebration at the popular eatery, which often hosts live music events. According to Lauderhill police, officers arrived to find a crowd dispersing and were informed that a friend had transported the injured woman to HCA Florida Plantation Emergency.
The victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, is currently in stable condition. Another woman at the scene suffered a minor injury, though she was not shot. She was also taken to the same hospital by a friend. The motive for the shooting remains unknown, and authorities have yet to identify any suspects.
