TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa residents will be able to wash their laundry for free on Saturday, Aug. 9, at the second-ever “Suds and Solutions” event. Suds and Solutions is designed to provide local families under financial stress with free laundry assistance while connecting them with city services. The inaugural event was held on July 10 and helped families wash more than 277 loads of laundry, or 2,770 pounds, for free while connecting them with resources, according to a news release.
