Ohio man files lawsuit to get Harris off ballot

YELLOW CREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A Columbiana County man has filed a federal lawsuit related to the November election.

Donald Vos is suing the Ohio Secretary of State and believes he has an open and shut case. His top claim is that the Democrats should not be allowed to replace Joe Biden’s name on the ballot.

“It’s plain and simple. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist,” Vos said. “Nobody else can take his place, nobody else can step in, because Ohio law does not allow it to happen.”

Vos lives in Yellow Creek Township. He’s aware of the state legislature pushing back the deadline to certify a name for the ballot but believes that is unchallengeable, too. Vos wants an order or injunction to prevent any other Democrat on the ballot but Biden. He feels it’s the law.

“If Trump had bowed out of the race and they put another Republican and at this stage of the game to run in his place, I would challenge it,” Vos said.

Vos said his legal knowledge is self-taught. He acknowledges it’s a history-making case. The 70-year-old would also like to see others file similar lawsuits.
