Florida Dunkin Donuts Shut Down After State Inspection

Grabbing a donut, bagel, or coffee on your way to work or on your way home can be a nice way to start or end your day. Unfortunately, one of Florida’s donut shops – a Dunkin Donuts in Kissimmee – was recently shut down after a state inspection.

Dunkin Donuts In Florida: Most people are familiar with this brand which is a staple of the Boston area, and began in the 1950s. Despite the “Donuts” in their name, they’re probably just as well known for their coffee.

There are currently 13,200 Dunkin Donuts restaurants in nearly 40 global markets, but there are also quite a few locations of Dunkin in Florida – just over 900.

The location in question at 3745 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee gets mixed reviews, earning 3.4 out of 5 stars on Google reviews.

While some commented on receiving excellent service, others recounted incorrect orders and one person commented on cleanliness. A reviewer named Laronda wrote, in part:

“Service/food is hit or miss at this location. Today my sourdough sandwich…was actually cold on the first bite. I also got a cup of water which tasted like mildew. Someone needs to get the machines cleaned and serviced. I’m going to stop frequenting this location. I’ve just had too many negative experiences there.”
