GuideWell is shuttering Diagnostic Clinic Medical Group, a chain of four medical clinics offering primary and specialty care, imaging, and physical therapy. The Florida Blue parent company will close DCMG clinics in Clearwater, Winter Haven, Largo and St. Petersburg, Fla. by the end of August. According to regulatory documents filed with the state, 245 employees will be terminated as a result of the closures, including physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses and medical assistants. The layoffs will take place from Sept. 3 to Dec. 21.
