BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Birmingham Zoo will be celebrating World Elephant Day on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Heat and humidity continue through Friday, cold front brings less humid air this weekend
The event is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. You can learn all about elephants and how the zoo cares for them. Their animal care professionals will be interacting with three African elephants in training sessions, food tosses, and more.
All activities and demos are free with paid admission into the zoo.
