Four paddle boarders had to be rescued near Byers Lake. Alaska Air National Guard members responded after the boarders sent a call for help using one of their cell phones. A helicopter crew located the distressed paddle boarders near Byers Lake, which is about 100 miles north of Anchorage, and brought them safely to the Byers Lake Campground.
