WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – The Sedgwick County Zoo announced Thursday that they have a new senior gorilla in their Downing Gorilla Forest. The zoo says 42-year-old Matadi is a wise and wonderful western lowland gorilla who recently arrived from the Albuquerque BioPark and she will soon be joining Kivu and another male to form a “senior” group.
