Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – The city of Rio Rancho is encouraging residents to participate in its Community Emergency Response Team program. The program offers comprehensive training on disaster preparedness; including first aid, search and rescue, fire safety and disaster psychology. Graduates are then eligible to join the Rio Rancho CERT team, which actively supports the community through volunteer work and continued training. The training is offered two to three times a year.
