Driver injured after crashing into Mount Pleasant seafood restaurant

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A car crashed into a Mount Pleasant seafood restaurant on Friday afternoon.

NICO, located at the corner of Coleman Boulevard and Mill Street, said it will be closed for the night after a vehicle ran into the restaurant’s exterior on the Coleman Blvd. side.

“Everyone is safe and ok, but due to damage we won’t be able to open for dinner this evening,” the restaurant said in a post on their social media pages.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver of the vehicle that crashed into NICO was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
