Victim dies after Dorchester Road hit-and-run, police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston Police say the victim of a hit-and-run has died days after the collision.

The collision occurred at Dorchester Road and Leeds Avenue on August 2. Police arrested 27-year-old Mario Williams and charged him with hit and run with great bodily injury.

Harve Jacobs, spokesperson for North Charleston PD, said Williams’ charges will updated following the victim’s death.
