FIRST ALERT: Storm chances continue through the weekend

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – While Debby has left, we’ll keep the risk of afternoon storms in the forecast. Saturday morning starts mainly dry, with temperatures only dropping into the middle-70s. As we move into the afternoon, expecting a round of showers and storms to develop. While not as widespread as we saw during Debby, some spots sometimes see heavy rain. Due to how saturated we are, any additional rainfall could quickly lead to ponding on the roadways.
