Elite Five-Star Wide Receiver Names Final Four Schools

Five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. is down to his final-four schools ahead of his commitment announcement on Aug. 30.

Ffrench, out of Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, is rated as the No. 4 WR, the No. 3 player in the state and the No. 25 recruit overall, per 247Sports. Ffrench caught 62 passes for 1,247 yards and 14 touchdown as a junior, helping Madarin to an 11-4 season and 4M State Championship appearance.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound wideout will choose from among Texas, LSU, Tennessee and Miami. Ffrench officially visited each of his final schools over the spring and summer, including two trips to Miami.

Athleticism runs in the family for Ffrench, who’s brother, Maurice Ffrench, set the single-season school record for receptions at Pittsburgh in 2019. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent and spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers before moving on to the CFL.
