Expect delays on northbound U.S. 195 between Spangle and Spokane due to repaving project

SPOKANE, Wash. – Drivers using northbound U.S. 195 between Spangle and Spokane should expect delays as construction crews repave the roadway. According to the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the project will repave the section between milepost 81 and milepost 94, from Cornwall Road to Cheney-Spokane Road. The repaving of the northbound lanes will start at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12. WSDOT noted that initial work will include surveying, guardrail installation, curbing and other preparations before paving begins the week of Aug. 19. Crews will start at Cornwall Road in Spangle and work northward.
