BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Sports physicals and health screenings are just some of the resources available for students Saturday at a health fair in south Bakersfield.
On Aug. 10, organizers with Clinica Sierra Vista and partners are set to host a back-to-school health fair event, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Organizers said families are invited to Greenfield Community School at 725 Capitola Drive, to make sure their children are starting the upcoming school year in a healthy and positive way.
Services provided include health screenings, community resources, backpacks for the new school year and a mobile health unit for patients.
This event is being held in honor of Children’s Health Day during National Health Center Week.
