BAKERSFIELD, California – One Pine Mountain Club teacher encountered a ‘bear-y’ unusual situation, Monday. Elaine Salmon was adding the final touches to her classroom before students make their return to Pike to Pike Mountain Charter School next week. Salmon told Eyewitness News she briefly stepped out to grab a few items in the office located right next door. When she got back to her classroom, she realized there was a juvenile black bear inside and that she had left her cell phone inside.
