The abundance of talent continues in Part II with more playmakers opposing teams must face when the Hurricanes take the field.

Who’s Next In Line For Miami’s Wide Receiver Corps?

This is a great question that may not be answered until the end of September. It’s actually good for Miami, too. As noted above, this is a deep group of receivers. There may be a rotation of receivers stepping up from one game to the next opposing teams like the Florida Gators (Aug. 31) will not know how the Canes will utilize their talent. Here’s an example.

The starting boundary receiver position battle is between redshirt sophomore Isaiah Horton and Houston transfer and fifth-year senior Sam Brown . Horton’s name is being brought up more with a good offseason. He returns after 13 receptions, 168 yards, a 12.9 average, and 1 touchdown.

Brown is proven with 2023 stats that catch one’s eye including 62 receptions, 815 yards, 13.2 average, and 3 touchdowns. Between the two boundary receivers, Miami should be in excellent shape. It should not take long to find out either.
