Warm, humid weather will continue through the weekend, but so will the chance for thunderstorms. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, warm and muggy with scattered showers. Low temperatures will stay in the 70s. A front will stay stalled in the area through the weekend, preventing any drier air from moving in. This will keep a good chance for late day thunderstorms both days this weekend, and these storms will bring the threat of heavy rain and additional flooding. High temperatures will be near normal in the upper 80s and low 90s. The higher than normal chance for thunderstorms will continue on Monday, then the front will finally nudge offshore on Tuesday, allowing for some subtle drying. The chance for thunderstorms will continue through the rest of the week, but they will be more hit or miss.
