LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating after they say a diver was found dead in the ocean in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. According to BSO spokesman Carey Codd, someone called 911 shortly before 11 p.m. Friday to report a possible drowning in the area of 100 Palm Avenue.
