Summer may be winding down, but there’s still time to get out and enjoy Alaska’s lakes and waterways. Alaska is one of few states that *doesn’t* require mandatory education when it comes to boating. That means anyone can buy a boat and take it out on the water. It’s clearly not recommended. Best practice? Understand water safety and practice it.
