Michigan Rose Bowl Hero Tyler Morris Makes Honest Admission On Alex Orji’s Growth At Quarterback

Tyler Morris is a former four-star recruit from Bolingbrook, Illinois whose familiarity with fellow Prairie State passing game star JJ McCarthy manifested itself in a heroic Rose Bowl performance vs. Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2024 Rose Bowl Game.

Morris dusted the Tide’s vaunted secondary, led by Terrion Arnold, the late Kyree Jackson and Kool-Aid McKinstry for a key 38-yard touchdown catch and run, the first receiving touchdown of his career.

On Friday, Morris commented on key Wolverines topics in a press conference covered by the MGoBlue media outlet.

Morris said that prospective starting QB Alex Orji has been “more detail oriented” during the spring. He added that Orji has made “amazing” throws this offseason and has improved his consistency as a passer.

Morris was asked about Michigan football’s impending decision on a starting quarterback, to which he remained mostly neutral.
