Here’s how all Colorado athletes fared in the 2024 Paris Olympics

The Paris Olympics are winding down this weekend.

More than three dozen athletes with Colorado ties competed in Paris and at least 10 are guaranteed to leave with medals.

There are a few events still to go, but here’s how Colorado athletes fared in the 2024 Summer Olympics:

(Note: This list includes some athletes born in Colorado and others who call Colorado home in their Olympic bios. All athletes competed for Team USA unless otherwise noted)

Cycling

Haley Batten (Fort Collins)

Batten took home a silver medal for the U.S. , finishing second in the women’s cross country mountain biking race in 1:28:59. The runner-up spot was the best finish ever by an American in the event.

Taylor Knibb (Boulder)

Knibb was a three-event Olympian, winning a silver medal with the U.S. women’s mixed relay triathlon in a time of 1:25:40. She also placed 19th in the women’s triathlon and 19th in the women’s cycling individual time trial.

Other Colorado Olympic cyclists:

  • Riley Amos (Durango): Amos finished seventh in the men’s cross country mountain biking race with a time of 1 hour, 28 minutes, eight seconds.
  • Savilia Blunk (Durango): Blunk placed 12th while finishing the women’s cross country mountain biking race in 1:31:52.
  • Christopher Blevins (Durango): Blevins finished 13th in the men’s cross country mountain biking race with a time of 1:29:06.
  • Grant Koontz (Nederland): Koontz placed 16th in men’s omnium race, scoring 42 points.
  • Olivia Cummins (Fort Collins, Rocky Mountain High School): Cummins was part of the five-person U.S. women’s track cycling team pursuit squad that won a gold medal, but she did not compete in any of the three races.
