Boise National Forest wildfire update

Boise, ID (CBS2) – Fire crews continue to battle several fires in the Boise National Forest. Crews are working on the Middle Fork Complex which is made up of the Bulldog, Nellie, and Anderson fires. Crews have constructed hand and dozer lines on the south and west sides of the Bulldog fire to protect property and structures near Crouch. Crews are planning to perform a strategic burn out operation overnight. Crews have completed the fireline from the river to the Lightning Ridge trailhead and are working on the lines to the west and south into the Pioneer Fire burn scar. Middle Fork Road is still closed just south of Lightning Creek.
