Emily Witt is stepping up to the plate as Coppell ISD’s new softball head coach and girls athletic coordinator. The small-town Texas native, who began coaching at 21, brings a district championship from her time at George Ranch High School. Named teacher of the year at her previous campus, Witt is eager to support her new team both on and off the field. When she’s not strategizing plays, you might find her cheering on the Astros or training for her next marathon.
