August 11, 2024 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 9, 2024, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Gang Suppression Unit, with the assistance of the Kern County District Attorney’s Office, executed search warrants in the 2300 block of Gurley Street and the 8800 block of Forest Oak Avenue, both related to the sales of fentanyl in Bakersfield.
