The fairgrounds in Albuquerque welcome visitors back Sept. 5 through Sept. 15 for the 2024 New Mexico State Fair.
How much is it to get into the NM State Fair?
Tickets are now on sale for adults and children to the New Mexico State Fair.
Adult tickets are $15; seniors who are 65 and older and children ages 6 to 12 pay $8 for tickets. Children under 5 may enter the State Fair for free.

The State Fair is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Days and days of fun at the New Mexico State Fair
There are plenty of events to take the family to during the State Fair. Here are the standouts to plan for:
- The Great American Pig Races begin at 5 p.m. Sept. 5 and continue daily throughout the Fair.
- Ever milked a cow? Now’s your chance, with cow milking demonstrations daily.
- The Green Chile Cheeseburger Challenge is back beginning Sept. 9. Try the best of green chile cuisine at the Fair. And don’t forget the Inaugural Green Chile Stew Cook-Off on Sept. 12.
