Georgia Rep. Devan Seabaugh denies using drugs after arrest in Atlanta

ATLANTA – A Georgia state lawmaker accused of driving under the influence after he allegedly struck a bicyclist in the bike lane of an Atlanta street says he was not drunk. Rep. Devan Seabaugh was arrested Thursday night in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood by the NightHawks, a Georgia State Patrol unit that targets drunken drivers. The state patrol has not detailed the circumstances of the crash, but Seabaugh said there were no serious injuries.
