This past weekend, three bodies that had been underwater for decades were discovered in Plantation’s calm waterways. The Plantation Fire Department confirmed that a 1960s Chevrolet Impala, containing two sets of skeletal remains, was discovered near 10151 SW 1 St. As reported by CBS News Miami, the remains have been identified as those of a mother and child from Pennsylvania who vanished in 1974 amidst a custody dispute.
