State Superintendent of Education wants cellphones out of schools

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The state of Florida passed a law banning students from using cellphones during class and the nation’s largest school district is considering doing the same. Arkansas is launching a pilot program to encourage schools to go phone-free, and students in Louisiana are required to keep their phones off and stored during the day.
