Man who groped teen girl arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 23-year-old man who last year pleaded no contest to groping a teen girl was arrested Friday on suspicion of indecent exposure, booking records show.

Timothy Aik Kensavath is being held without bail for violating parole, records show. He’s due in court on Tuesday.

In April of last year, Kensavath was arrested after two girls, both 14, reported they were walking home from Freedom Middle School when a man approached and groped one of them.

Security footage captured the incident. The girls ran to one of their homes, where parents were notified and a police report filed.

Kensavath was arrested a day later. He pleaded no contest to a felony count of sexual battery and was sentenced to two years in prison and lifetime sex offender registration.
