USD 259 hosting free child immunization clinic

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW)—Wichita Public Schools is hosting free vaccine clinics with the Sedgwick County Health Department so that students can receive required and recommended vaccines for school.

The clinics will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, and Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Alvin E. Morris Administrative Center, 903 S. Edgemoor St.

Guests are asked to park in the visitor parking lot at the southwest corner of Lincoln and Edgemoor, enter through the main entrance (Door #1), and check in at Room 909.

Appointments are required, and a parent or guardian must be present with the children. To make an appointment, call 316-973-4475 or go online . Separate appointments must be made for each child.

According to USD 259, appointments may last 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and post-vaccine monitoring procedures. Guests are also asked to arrive 10-15 minutes before the appointment. Be sure to plan accordingly.
