Officials with Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) recently announced a call for artists to create a design for a crosswalk mural at a station in Decatur. MARTA’s public art program, known as Artbound, is encouraging local “artists and designers who show artistic merit demonstrated in a strong portfolio of past work” to apply to design the crosswalk mural, which will be located at Kensington Station, 3350 Kensington Road.
